Driftwood is a unique, handcrafted cottage on beautiful Bruny Island, overlooking the Southern Ocean. Exuding warmth and character, the cottage invites you to relax, unwind, and just BE.
Cosy up by the fire, read a book from the cottage library, indulge in some delicious local produce, and enjoy the abundant birdlife and wonderful ocean views.
Set on two wild acres, the gardens are a place to wander and explore, relax in the barrel sauna, and admire the beautiful wildlife.
The Space
A unique, rustic timber cottage built from recycled materials and full of warmth and charm, Driftwood is North-facing with wonderful views towards Bruny Island Neck and beyond.
The handcrafted kitchen features a gas-top stove, along with an abundance of cooking equipment.
The open-plan dining and living area includes a study nook and features the central woodburner and cottage library.
There are two comfortable queen bedrooms (one upstairs on a mezzanine level) and a characterful bathroom with a large shower and clawfoot tub.
Outside you can explore the gardens with a variety of natives growing and an abundance of wildlife (look out for the rare white wallaby!)
Bruny Chocolate is just a short walk away and it's just a few minutes drive to beautiful Adventure Bay and Coals Point surf break.
