ONE CHURCH

One Church

One Church was a run down old miners cottage originally built over 100 years ago. It was lovingly
restored by its current owners over a 2 year period. One Church pays homage to its past, whilst

ensuring it’s comfortable, cosy and warm.

The cottage has been simply, yet beautifully styled with a mix of old and new treasures ensuring it

is the perfect space to take a deep breath, relax and unwind.

Take in the stunning views across the valley, up to the lush grazing land and the beautiful

Tasmanian bush.

One Church is located in the old mining town of Derby in the North East of Tasmania. Set back off
busy Main Street it is the perfect escape from a hectic modern life. Explore the world class Mt
Bike trail network, take a stroll around Briseis Lake or indulge in the Derby Floating Sauna.

The Space

Wake in the morning to Kookaburra song & the sounds of the bush from our super comfy beds.
All beds are clad in luxurious french flax linen and fitted with electric blankets, deluxe mattress
toppers and cosy doonas. We have 3 bedrooms and can sleep a maximum of 6.
Sink into the deluxe feather sofa located in our cosy living space or relax by the roaring wood fire

whilst reading a book or enjoying a pot of tea or a glass of wine.

The house has a fully equipped, and newly renovated, open plan kitchen/dining area with

windows that take in the crown land bush behind the house.

The luxurious bathroom has been completely renovated and contains an oversized shower and

under floor heating.

One Church was renovated to ensure a comfortable, cosy and warm stay.
